Spring Family Session

It was spring, and it WAS HOT at the Lake Elmo Park Reserve for this family session! These guys managed this session, no sweat, and stood together through the thick (thick grass?!) of it! (Puns not intended??!) The sunset glimmered ever so perfectly onto the pond and the surrounding greenery smelled incredibly fresh and pure! You could feel any and all stress melt off your shoulders. Its amazing what being in nature can do to you, isn’t it? The crackles we heard under our feet as we walked through the beautiful tall grass was like music to my ears! This perfect little family stood right in their own element during this session! Full of spunk and love, this session adds to the list of favorites for me!

Luke, Christa and the kids have personalities that are truly amazing and unique! They compliment each other so well! They are the kind of people you would feel comfortable hanging out with even if you didn’t know them! Their humor is so contagious which made it easy to get that genuine smile behind the camera!  My favorite part was playing and running around in the dreamy lit fields. It brought back memories from my childhood playing at the cabin down by the cul-de-sac and fishing through the tall grass into the stream.

Although we had a snagged skirt and heard the most bizarre, and VERY loud and VERY close animal noise, I think it’s safe to say it was yet another perfect day with this family!
