Lake Elmo Park Reserve Maternity

The smell of the fresh crisp air at Lake Park Elmo Reserve was completely breathtaking at this maternity session. The sounds of the birds chirping in their nests and the feel of the light winds grazing cross our skin completely rejuvenated our souls!  Lauren and Kellen are truly one of a kind! Being in their presence on this cloudy day felt like a bright light shining upon us; their energy is so warm and contagious!!

I have been honored to be a part of their proposal, engagement, wedding and now MATERNITY! Lauren wears this bump so well! It was so fun to see Kellen’s eyes light up as her GORGEOUS flowy dress lightly wrapped around Lauren’s tummy in the wind. His fun and playful demeanor made this session so easy; I didn’t even have to say “smile!” You know you’ve got amazing parents here just by observing them! Their love extends deep from each other to their soon to be children!

We found some very dreamy spots deep in the woods, but was unsure if this mama would be able to make it through the rough terrain to get there. She then informed me that she was JUST hiking in the mountains a few weeks prior! WOW! This exciting and adventurous woman amazes me every time I see her! And we got that PERFECT shot we were hoping for!! I am excited to see where their next adventure takes them!
