Inner City Newborn Lifestyle Session

This Newborn Lifestyle Session taken place in the Inner City is yet another memorable one. I was amazed by not only this family, but their parents, siblings and relatives. Leaving this home was an amazing heart opener!

Every item put into this nursery has a special meaning behind it from them or their relatives. In addition to every blanket being handmade, the bassinet was also carefully made; and then each family member painted a piece of wood that was added to it to create this keepsake piece of furniture to treasure forever. To say this sweet child is blessed with a wonderful, giving family is a VAST understatement. I swear the clients that keep coming my way impress me more and more with their gratitude, love, and thankfulness and I feel so grateful each and every day that I get to call this photography thing “my job!”

As I was getting a few detail shots, The one thing that really caught my eye in Thomas’ nursery was the TRAIN TRACK built by his DAD around the entire upper perimeter of the nursery! It was INCREDIBLE. And his mama….a beautiful soul, beautiful woman; this mommy hood thing comes 100% natural to her. She knew exactly what he needed at every moment and could console this little man in minutes! If I have learned anything being a mom myself, I have learned that a calm demeanor will come in handy more than once in a child’s life, (something I work on everyday! Ha!) and this amazing mama was one of the calmest I’ve seen!

Baby Thomas, may your world be filled with love and light, gratitude, happiness and joy! You are in great hands! Congrats guys!
