Added to one of my top favorite sessions to date was this anniversary session in Montana! I LOVED that they took the time to prioritize and CELEBRATE each other and their marriage throughout their busy lives! After 12 years of marriage, these two love birds have three young kiddos that keep them hopping! The nurturing parents that they are, have set an amazing example for their kids in cherishing JUST HOW this family came to be in the first place, THEM! How honored I was to be able to capture their true, joyous, gracious selves in MONTANA! EVERYTHING about this session was magical! The serene, quiet Wild Life Refuge, to the crystal clear waters of the Swan River coming directly from the snow capped mountains was so exhilarating and romantic in every way! Way to set the mood for this session, mother nature! What I LOVE is how affectionate they are for one another! Still after 12 years, their love for one another has not changed! The way he gently leaned his forehead onto hers, lifting his gaze into her sparkling eyes made everything feel like a fairy tail! When she giddily (is this even a word? Ha!) swooshed her skirt in the light breeze, the dreamy sun ever so beautifully illuminated the chiffon! GORGEOUS!
AND, OKAY… can we talk about her FLOWERS?! An amazing idea to bring back all the feels of your wedding day with this beautiful bouquet which included some of the same colors from her wedding! A GORGEOUS touch to make this entire session that much more of a WOW! Conrad Floral, you did a phenomenal job!
Another little side note since I am ALL about the little miracles in life that some like to call “coincidences.” Their Anniversary (August 11) happens to be my father and late mother’s wedding anniversary as well! Its almost as if this magical session was meant to happen! Or maybe an angel from above was trying to make her debut ;)!
And how about that MONTANA SUNSET?! When that hot sun finally began to drop behind the mountains, we snuck down to the Swan River to dip our feet (ok maybe our entire lower halves!) into the cool, refreshing waters. We definitely had a bit of rough terrain to get there, especially in our shoes that fit our current attire! Ha! There were sturdy tree branches to hold onto as we tunneled down the hill to the river! Good thing I still had my camera bag on my back because we definitely captured more true love, beautiful sunset reflections from the river, laughs, and splashes! Yet another reason I love this couple! They are so spontaneous and FUN! She did not even think twice about her chiffon dress getting wet! I can only imagine what this adventurous couple has in store for them the next few decades to come! Back in Minnesota and already missing the beautiful views! Congrats guys!
Beautifully captured moments, Sara. 👏
How do you pick, the photo shots are all gorgeous!
You have the eyes, Sara!
The water shots are my fave! I still remember when they were first dating, it looked a lot like these pics. SO MUCH LOVE! Cheers to many more years…
