[Season 1, Episode 1]
This backyard Senior Session is about all we could do with locations during this stay-at-home order. (We chose my backyard!) But it paid off! Vanessa wanted her senior pictures taken and I thought that I should honor her because of all of the fun things that have been stripped away for seniors this year. 🙁 We managed to stay about 6 inches apart for some of it, but most of the time I had to properly pose her using the “hands-on” method. Turning her head from side to side for some reason was difficult for her, so I did have to assist her, but made sure I held my breath as I was so close to her.
Vanessa had really wanted to try out the new, up and coming style of Senior Portraits with my “friends package deal” by bringing along some of her friends for fun and for splitting the price! Unfortunately with the pandemic, I thought we would leave her friends at home, as one person would be safest. She did have to pay full price, but she got more images of just her. Even though we were unable to bring her friends, we DID take advantage of customizing the REST this backyard senior session! She chose two outfits, and topped it off with gloriously smelling lavender stems that filled the air with a sanctuary-like fragrance! I cannot forget to mention that she brought the CUTEST little bike for that extra WOW factor! We filled it with flowers too! 🙂
The soft greens and pinks that she chose with the help from my Style Guide made her eyes twinkle and POP! Although a very quite person, I assume she was an amazing senior! I am an introvert myself and love this about me, but she brought introverts to an entire new level! I can’t imagine all of the amazing things she was thinking about in her head!
A huge congrats to Vanessa!
