Such a Happy DAY!
Being a mom myself, I had forgotten how newborn skin felt so similar to a silk blanket! And how the little fuzz on their head tickles your neck as they snuggle themselves into you! And the tight grasp of those little fingers around your thumb….
Just a week and a half prior, Lauren and Kellen were taking their Maternity photos down by the pond with the dreamy, creamy sunset! It’s funny how things work out as we decided to take these photos a bit earlier than “normal.” Good thing we did because this little guy wanted to meet his mama and dada at 35 weeks! Even weighing in at only 5# 7oz, he was still as healthy as ever!
This lifestyle session, led by Baby Kase of course, went so smoothly! This little guy loved to eat, cuddle, and sleep! The nursery was simple and perfect in every way, from the Angel figurine to the uniquely painted walls, and the children’s farm books already placed ever so perfectly next to the rocker! As most new parents stumble though being a parent right off the bat, these two seemed to already have their ducks in a row and have already been acclimated to him! With family nearby, there was so much help and love passed around the house!
Not only will they cherish the memories of this sweet baby boy and all of his teeny, tiny features, but will also have the memories of their first home together on their wall in every home to come!
Such a heartfelt story and such beautiful photography, Sara.
